Match scoring

A score you can read line by line.

Every candidate gets a match score from 0 to 100, built from the requirements and weights on the role. Open any score and you see exactly which checks contributed, and by how much.

Sample score breakdown

Weights in, reasons out.

Each requirement has a weight, and the weights add up to 100. A met requirement contributes its full weight, a partial one contributes part of it, and a not-evidenced one contributes nothing. The total is the score. No hidden factors, no popularity signals, no ranking by who applied first.

  • Weights set by you, per role
  • Partial credit for related evidence
  • The top matched and missing reasons shown on every card in the feed

Score bands

Colour means the same thing everywhere.

Green, amber and grey are used consistently across the feed, the shortlist and client reports, so fit reads at a glance.

75 - 100

Strong match

Meets the must-haves with clear evidence. The natural place to start your review.

55 - 74

Review

Partial or missing evidence on something that matters. Often worth a quick look or a screen-call question.

0 - 54

Lower fit

Little evidence against the current brief. Still in the feed, still reviewable, and re-scored if the brief changes.

Live ranking

Scores move. The feed follows.

When a new candidate arrives, a profile gains evidence, or you edit the brief, affected scores update and the feed re-sorts in place. Here is the same mechanic running on a sample role.

Questions

Scoring FAQ

No. There is no threshold below which candidates are removed or hidden. The bands are a reading aid, and your team decides who moves forward.

You control the requirements, whether each is a must-have or a nice-to-have, and the weight of each. Growth and Agency plans add saved scoring templates for roles you hire often.

Every change is logged on the profile: new evidence such as an updated CV or referral note, or a change to the role brief. The log shows the old and new score and the reason.

Ties are ordered by strength on must-have requirements first. Application time is never used to break a tie in a way that buries later applicants.
